MONICA RISHLING
SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA
The earth screams through space and time at an astonishing 1.3 million mph. Barreling forth into 2021 with 2020 still clear in the rearview, I struggle with human kind and our collective loss of ability to listen. We are inclined to violence and selfish agenda rather than listening and seeking understanding. Restless thoughts led me to find ways to cope. Imaging myself very, very small being held up by the hands of the Creator brings me an inner peace and external strength that allows that much needed rest to happen.
Monica is a South Dakota native who is awkward with small talk. She lives with and loves her husband Matt and two dogs, Sera and Esther. She dabbles with polymer clay and especially enjoys creating realistic, miniature food.
